Preoperative Epilepsy Surgery Evaluation
摘要
Epileptic seizures are transient brain disorders caused by abnormal discharge of cerebral neurons. Patients have varied clinical manifestations, including sensory, motor, conscious, mental, behavioral, and autonomic dysfunctions, or a combination of symptoms, depending on the specific location of abnormally discharging neurons and the brain network involved. A patient may have one or more epileptic seizure types.
