There are several important measures used in this chapter to show how well digital cash transfers work in Bangladesh’s Social Safety Net (SSN) schemes. These include how happy program participants are with the ease of use, reliability, accessibility, and timeliness of the programs. They also include how efficient the programs’ administration is, such as the amount of time and money saved by reducing transaction costs, travel expenses, and administrative overhead. The report examines how technology has made it easier for underserved areas to access services and achieve better outcomes. To achieve this, it utilises a combination of data from SSN users, Union Parishad (UP) officials, and other key sources. Not only did the data show significant jumps in beneficiary happiness, but they also showed notable jumps in economic stability, financial freedom, and beneficiaries’ ability to get to the services they need. There are also problems with technology, and people in distant places do not always have access to the internet. The final section of the chapter provides valuable tips for enhancing the digital money transfer system to ensure it works effectively for everyone, lasts a long time, and adheres to best practices worldwide.
