A monitoring method, device, and system for DC de-icing operations of power transmission lines. The method includes: measuring the ice thickness on the power transmission line; activating the DC de-icing device to de-ice the power transmission line when the ice thickness exceeds a first threshold; measuring in real time the number of discharge photons on the insulator surface of the power transmission line; calculating the area of the light spots on the insulator surface based on the number of discharge photons; and controlling the de-icing device to stop de-icing when the number of discharge photons exceeds a second threshold and the light spot area exceeds a third threshold. The system includes a monitoring center, a mobile terminal, and a monitoring device for DC de-icing operations of power transmission lines. By monitoring the arcs, number of discharge photons, and light spot area on insulators of the power transmission line, the safety of DC de-icing operations is ensured.

摘要
