Research on Energy Management Control Strategies Based on Ship Microgrid
摘要
To address the International Maritime Organization (IMO) 2030/2050 greenhouse gas reduction strategy and enhance the operational efficiency of ship microgrids with high proportions of new energy integration, this paper investigates the optimization methods for energy management in ship microgrids. Firstly, a mathematical model of the key components of the system, including photovoltaic(PV) power generation units, battery energy storage units, and diesel generator units, is established. Secondly, one improved energy management control strategies are proposed: based on the analysis of the existing logical threshold control, an improved logical threshold control strategy is designed, which prioritizes the maximum power output of PVs, uses batteries for energy transfer within a set SOC threshold range (20–90%), and employs diesel generators only as backup power sources, significantly increasing the utilization rate of renewable energy and reducing emissions. The simulation results show that the proposed strategy can effectively adapt to the changing working conditions of the ship, and significantly reduce the pollution emission while ensuring the stability of the system.
