Education is widely recognized as one of the most transformative force for system change. It is especially relevant for environment sustainability. It is important to educate staff and help guests become involved in sustainable practices. This chapter focuses on the significance of staff and guest education in efforts to develop a culture of sustainability within hotels and restaurants. This approach can help save water as well as develop communication strategies to promote responsible water use, which can be a valuable contribution to water conservation efforts. In short, this chapter highlights the strength of a collective approach. Sustainable water practices are a reality that hotel management staff and guests can help create. It benefits not only the hotel and its resources but also contributes to larger scale sustainability efforts. Finally, the chapter highlights the potency of collective action and the ability of educated staff and guests to become water conservation advocates within the hospitality industry and beyond. The study initially collected 401 research articles in English from Scopus using the keywords sustainability, sustainable practices, hospitality industry hotel, education, training awareness, and environmental education. After checking them based on set criteria, 125 articles were chosen for the final study.
