This chapter presents a real-time method for identifying nonlinear wave loads on a circular cylinder. Two algorithms—fast Fourier transform (FFT) and recursive least squares (RLS)—are employed to perform the real-time identification. Hydrodynamic experiments were carried out in a wave flume on a circular cylinder to assess the effectiveness of the nonlinear identification method. Meanwhile, we conducted a validation of the vision-based measurement method, which demonstrated excellent agreement with the reference results.

摘要

This chapter presents a real-time method for identifying nonlinear wave loads on a circular cylinder. Two algorithms—fast Fourier transform (FFT) and recursive least squares (RLS)—are employed to perform the real-time identification. Hydrodynamic experiments were carried out in a wave flume on a circular cylinder to assess the effectiveness of the nonlinear identification method. Meanwhile, we conducted a validation of the vision-based measurement method, which demonstrated excellent agreement with the reference results.
