Autonomous Swarm Embodied Artificial Intelligence (Autonomous SEAI) represents a significant evolution from single-agent to multi-agent systems, leveraging swarm intelligence to overcome limitations in environment perception, embodied decision-making, and operational robustness of current embodied AI. This chapter reviews swarm embodied AI from foundations to advances, including key technologies, key components, operational Robustness of the sim-to-real setting, simulators, datasets, and evaluation metrics. Recent progress in autonomous embodied AI has greatly advanced this field. This chapter highlights autonomous collaboration, autonomous communication, and autonomous robustness optimization approaches of autonomous SEAI through three integrative paradigms: self-organization, self-negotiation, and self-reflection. Autonomous SEAI will be a key research direction in the future, which can maintain resilience, adaptability, and continuous self-improvement in dynamic environments.
