Since the dawn of the twenty-first century, with the accelerated development of new-generation information technologies such as mobile internet, smart sensors, integrated chips, and cloud computing, artificial intelligence has gradually become the engine of a new round of industrial revolution. As a core technology driving social development, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will profoundly influence the international competition landscape and national influence. Consequently, the advancement of AI technology has become a strategic priority in the global competition among nations. Multiagent systems (MASs), as a vital subfield of AI, have also been integrated into the development and construction of many nations. MASs not only serve as crucial theoretical support and key technical assurance for expanding intelligent applications of unmanned systems, but they also represent a cutting-edge and hot research field in systems control science. With the increasing deployment of MASs across civilian and military sectors, there is a growing demand to enhance the overall performance of mission execution, making the research of intelligent cooperative control technologies for MASs increasingly essential. Therefore, investigating key technologies for intelligent cooperative control of MASs holds significant importance for elevating national scientific and technological capabilities as well as innovation strength.
