The course “Compiler Principles” is designed to enhance students’ system-level thinking in computer science and strengthen their ability to solve complex engineering problems. To achieve these objectives, we have structured the “Compiler Principles” course using a hybrid online-offline teaching model. In this paper, we first outline the construction of the hybrid online-offline course. Then, we present a teaching case that demonstrates the effectiveness of this model. Finally, we conclude this paper by sharing valuable experiences gained from implementing hybrid online-offline teaching.

摘要

The course “Compiler Principles” is designed to enhance students’ system-level thinking in computer science and strengthen their ability to solve complex engineering problems. To achieve these objectives, we have structured the “Compiler Principles” course using a hybrid online-offline teaching model. In this paper, we first outline the construction of the hybrid online-offline course. Then, we present a teaching case that demonstrates the effectiveness of this model. Finally, we conclude this paper by sharing valuable experiences gained from implementing hybrid online-offline teaching.
