Research on Precise Target Recognition and Distance Measurement Based on Variable Baseline Binocular Vision

To reduce the influence of fixed binocular baselines on the field of view of traditional binocular vision detection platforms, a binocular vision target recognition and detection system with variable baseline and variable optical axis is proposed. This system aims to reduce visual blind spots and improve the accuracy of recognition and ranging for dynamically changing targets. High-precision target recognition and ranging are achieved based on the YOLOv10 and HITNet model algorithms, and a related hardware platform is constructed. Finally, the effectiveness of the system is verified through simulation experiments and physical experiments.
