Study on Discharge Characteristics of Pulsed Power Supply Based on Concentrated Pulse Reactors
摘要
A type of pulsed power supply with concentrated layout of pulse reactor was designed. The positions of five pulse reactors were optimized, and the “1 + 4” layout with the smallest mutual inductance was selected. A complete pulsed power supply test system was built, with a voltage of 7 kV, single module energy storage of 100 kJ, and a total of five modules. Static tests such as withstand voltage, capacitance, inductance, and resistance were conducted on the pulsed power supply, as well as experiments including safe discharge, rated charging and discharging, and sequential control discharge. Both self-inductance simulation model and mutual inductance simulation model of the pulse reactor were established. The mutual inductance simulation model was closer to the actual situation, with an average error of 0.25% in current amplitude and 4.4% in pulse width compared to measured values. The concentrated layout of pulse reactor provided a feasible scheme for the structural design of pulsed power supplies.
