Application and Prospects of Vacuum Composite Manufacturing Technology in Other Fields

In recent years, China’s industry transitions from high energy consumption and high pollution to green and efficient, more and more traditional metal structural materials, especially steel materials, are facing an urgent need for upgrading and replacement. Therefore, green and efficient vacuum rolling composite technology has broad application and development space in new application fields. Traditional large-scale forged rolls, steel bars, high-strength rods and wires, and extra-thick aluminum plates are all manufactured using uniform materials or ingots. However, with technological progress, this process increasingly fails to meet the requirements of environmental protection and the diverse and complex needs of users. Therefore, this chapter will take these types of composite materials with specific application backgrounds as examples to introduce in detail their specific application backgrounds, manufacturing processes, and industrial prospects.
