Theoretical Basis of Laminated Metal Solid-Phase Bonding

摘要

Solid-phase bonding of metals primarily refers to the metallurgical bonding of two or more metals in a solid state. The mechanism of this bonding involves the changes in and formation of a strong bond at the interface of solid-phase composite materials before, during, and after the composite process, including the microstructural, chemical, and physical properties. Since the 1950s, extensive research has been conducted to investigate the mechanisms of solid-state bonding, with major theories including the mechanical interlocking theory, metallic bond theory, energy theory, recrystallization theory, diffusion theory, three-stage theory, dislocation theory, thin film theory, and Bay N theory [1, 2]. However, the understanding of the bonding mechanisms for various composite plates remains unclear, and the theories still require further refinement.
