In 2018, we proposed “Integrated Life Science Research Promotion Platform” in the framework of the Science Council of Japan (SCJ) Master Plan 2017. Since then, this spirit has been realized in the SCJ Master Plan 2020 and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Roadmap 2020 “Human Glycome Atlas Project,” and it has been implemented in 2023 as the MEXT large-scale academic frontiers promotion project “Human Glycome Atlas Project.” In this paper, we introduce its essence. We hope this will contribute to the transformation of life sciences in the future.

摘要
