IoT-Based Baby Health Monitoring System in Incubator by Using Android-Based Devices
摘要
In recent decades, baby care has become increasingly vital and demanding for working women. Working women will not have sufficient time at home to care for their children on a continuous basis. They may assign a babysitter to look after their child or send the child to live with their grandparents. In this research work, a smart and effective cradle with an automatic infant tracking system was developed. Thus, the infant covering system measured and covered all the baby’s required factors, including twinkle rate, temperature, capture the stir, gas motes and its position. To connect the detectors and selectors, utilize the S.ODI board. The infant will be placed in an environment akin to an incubator thanks to the baby monitoring and tracking system’s attachment to the smart cradle. The measured newborn health indicators, such as temperature, twinkling rate, and moistness on the baby bed, will be shown via the mobile operation. If the recorded readings indicate any irregularities, the proper action will be done, such as changing the temperature, turning on or off the addict, altering the cradle’s movement, and playing music for the newborn. But if the readings seem out of the ordinary, an alarm notification will be sent to both the parents and the carer. The system was designed using an Arduino Leonardo board, as well as a sound detection sensor, body temperature sensor, humidity sensor, and a finger heartbeat detector. An Android-based software application has been developed to notify parents in the event of an emergency.
