IoT-Based Automatic Attendance Monitoring System Using RFID

During the COVID-19 pandemic, companies had to take preventive measures to shield lives and prevent further spread of the infection. The pandemic highlighted the want for contactless attendance structures to minimize ailment transmission risks. Traditional attendance systems, wherein personnel sign in manually or test their thumbprints, are inefficient, time-consuming, blunders-inclined, and unstable for the duration of such times. Tracking attendance in real time can be hard, main to inaccuracies and disputes. To deal with these problems, an automated attendance machine using RFID (radio frequency identification) technology may be carried out. RFID technology makes use of electromagnetic fields to come across and display tags affixed to objects. In an attendance machine, every scholar or employee could have an RFID tag, which an RFID reader scans when they input or exit the premises. This project objectives to expand a less expensive, consumer-friendly RFID-based attendance gadget that offers real-time attendance information, streamlines the monitoring manner, reduces errors, and saves time.
