This research introduces the modeling method of digital twin in the monitoring of industrial robots to promote the improvement of the real-time monitoring capability of robots. The virtual twin model of the physical entity of the industrial robot is constructed using Unity, and a communication connection is established through an angle sensor. This realizes the synchronous update of data and status, thereby achieving the virtual-real mapping of the digital twin of the industrial robot. Through experimental verification, the feasibility of this system as well as the real-time performance and effectiveness of data transmission are validated. The research demonstrates a digital twin system that realizes the technologies of robot motion simulation and virtual-real synchronization of status, reflecting the prospects and application value of digital twin in the field of robots. This system also provides certain support for the status warning and fault warning of the digital twin system.
