In order to improve the quality of experimental teaching in the ‘Mechanical Design’ course, an experimental teaching platform for rolling bearings has been designed. Based on the variation of loads applied to rolling bearings, this platform utilizes data acquisition devices and experimental software to achieve real-time detection and online analysis of the working performance of rolling bearings. By measuring performance indicators such as static load, dynamic load, radial load, and axial load under different operating conditions, students can accurately analyze the factors influencing the performance of rolling bearings, including material, structure, lubrication conditions, and loading methods. This teaching platform serves as an experimental teaching device for rolling bearings in the ‘Mechanical Design’ course, demonstrating the innovativeness and advanced nature of experimental teaching equipment. The experimental process possesses a certain degree of difficulty, which is conducive to cultivating the observation and practical abilities of mechanical engineering students.
