The Impact of Data Quality on the Viability of Wind Energy Projects
摘要
The wind energy market is growing annually worldwide, with increasingly stringent rules governing energy trading and project financing. A well-structured project with quality data can make all the difference when negotiating energy sales, guaranteeing a more efficient project with contracts that align with reality. This article aims to verify the impact on wind energy projects using in situ data and reanalysis data. An operational wind farm in Uruguay was evaluated, and its design was developed using WindPro software. The results show that using measured data can considerably affect the results obtained.
