摘要

Meditation is a mental health therapy that has its origins in the East since ancient times, while psychotherapy is a mental health therapy from the West. Meditation is the practice of objectively observing changes that arise inside oneself, and the key to the practice is seeing things as they are without assigning any meaning, interpretation, or judgment. When you first start paying attention to breathing, it is difficult to maintain focus on the breath as it is difficult to concentrate in the beginning. You focus on each movement of the body as it occurs, and when thoughts arise, you recognize clearly that they have arisen. You observe how thoughts arise and pass away, and how sensations arise and pass away. You become free from all attachments when practicing meditation in this way, and your mind becomes calm when you are liberated from anxiety, anger, and sensual desire. Once you reach a state where you are one with the object and then recognize that you are connected with everything, you become compassionate and wise.
