The Cultural Confidence Cultivation Plan in the Four New Constructions–A Case Study of the “Computer Networks” Course

Addressing the issue of engineering students do not have enough confidence in traditional Chinese culture, it is proposed to reshape the culture of engineering education, focusing on themes such as national sentiments, cultural literacy, and moral cultivation. By exploring the intrinsic connection between the knowledge system of new engineering courses and traditional Chinese cultural ideas, a systematic plan for cultivating cultural confidence is presented. Taking the “Computer Networks” course as an example, through innovative course content design, teaching methods, and optimization of practical teaching stages, the aim is to help students, while mastering professional knowledge, enhance their identification with and pride in excellent traditional Chinese culture, and cultivate high-quality talents with international vision and cultural confidence.
