To investigate the vibration isolation effectiveness of the newly developed magnetorheological fluid-elastomer (MRFE) damper, this study established a vibration isolation test system using a shaking table and conducted experimental research on its isolation performance. An On-Off controller was designed for the MRFE damper, and comparative tests were performed under both fixed-current and On-Off control conditions under different road excitation inputs. The experimental results demonstrate that the developed MRFE damper can effectively isolate various road-induced vibrations. Furthermore, the application of On-Off control significantly enhances the damper’s vibration isolation performance.
