Mitigating Cyber Risks Amidst Geo-Political Tensions: A Computational Analysis Based on Adaptive Networks
摘要
Rising Geopolitical tensions has caused a surge in cyberwarfare which in turn has put the defense of sovereign digital infrastructure at risk, particularly for states in or near active conflict zones. A scenario is devised here modelling how Poland, a NATO member state, could defend itself against a Russian cyberattack using AI augmented strategies. Using a network modelling approach, a simulation is created displaying a human defense team, fending for itself against a Russian offensive aided by an AI-coach. Results show the efficacy of having an AI coach present in a cyberdefense team, which improves learning, reaction-time, and all together mitigates widespread losses, and post even ignorance.
