Based on the theory of complex systems, this chapter systematically expounds the nonlinear dynamic evolution characteristics of underground coal fires and their key information identification methods, and deeply analyzes the inherent complexity of its causal compounding, process dynamics, evolution nonlinearity and unpredictable results on this basis, focusing on the core process of coal spontaneous combustion, we will focus on key information carriers such as landmark gases, characteristic temperatures, oxidative thermal effects, thermal physical parameters and magnetic parameters of coal and rock.
