The engineering sweet spot evaluation method constructed on the basis of elastic parameters and mineral composition cannot take into account the influence of the structural characteristics of the grain layer on the field construction, so it is not applicable to the evaluation of the engineering sweet spot classification of the grain layer shale. In this chapter, we quantitatively characterize the striated shale striation development index based on the scratch curve and propose to construct an engineering sweet spot evaluation model based on the two indexes of compressive strength and striation development index. Using the continuous scratch curve to compare and correlate the logging data, the results of core scratching are generalized to the field, the accuracy of the traditional logging curve is improved, and the engineering sweet spot evaluation method applicable to striated shale is established.
