Nanoindentation Experiments
摘要
Unlike conventional rocks, the complexity of the internal structure of shale determines the diversity of shale macro- and micro-mechanical behaviors, i.e., the macroscopic deformation of shale under external loading often exhibits obvious non-uniformity, discontinuity, anisotropy, and inelasticity, while the micro- and fine-scale mechanical behaviors are even more complex and not yet adequately researched [1], and how to accurately characterize the micromechanical characteristics of terrestrial shale is not yet clear. Therefore, in this chapter, the nanoindentation test is carried out with Qingshankou Formation striated shale as the research object, the hardness and elastic modulus parameters are tested, and the damage mode and fracture characteristics in the indentation process are analyzed, and finally, the energy dissipation relationship in the indentation process of striated shale is investigated by introducing the dimensionless parameter.
