Modeling of In-Flight Entertainment System Based on Arcadia Method of KARMA Language

In-flight Entertainment System enriches the flight experience of passengers and can alleviate the boredom brought by long-distance travel. At the same time, it improves the service quality and competitiveness of airlines and becomes an important standard configuration of modern civil aviation services. As the aviation industry and related technologies advance, demand for sophisticated IFE systems continues to rise, and the In-flight Entertainment System is becoming more and more complex, so it is urgent to have an efficient modeling method. In this paper, a multi architecture modeling language karma is introduced. The Capella modeling language of IFE system is extended by using the Airdraw modeling tool, and the meta model of airborne entertainment system (IFE system) is established based on GOPPRR meta modeling framework. Then, according to the established meta model, the Arcadia modeling method is used to model and design the IFE system, and the model views of five levels in the IFE system, including operation analysis and system analysis, are constructed and analyzed.
