STUDY on Manufacturing Technology for I-Shaped Stringers with High Slenderness Ratio

This study reports on the structural characteristics and manufacturing requirements of I-shaped stringers with high slenderness ratio. In response to these structural features and various requirements, and based on a forward process design approach, the process scheme was designed, the manufacturing flow was developed, the tooling solution was planned, risks were analyzed and solution validation was implemented. This discussion process analyzed the key difficulties and solutions in the manufacturing technology for I-shaped stringers with high slenderness ratio, as well as the differences compared to traditional conventional I-shaped stringers. The process scheme designed in this research enables the stable and batch manufacturing of I-shaped stringers with high slenderness ratio and can be extended to the manufacturing of similar product structures.
