Engineering data transmission is a critical component throughout the entire life-cycle management of engineering data management. Data quality plays a central role in engineering data transmission, exerting a profound impact on engineering decision-making and safety. This paper analyzes the characteristics of engineering data transmission links, identifies data quality issues in engineering data transmission, and proposes Seed, a data quality assessment algorithm for engineering data transmission links. Finally, the effectiveness, and efficiency of the Seed algorithm are validated using both real-world and synthetic datasets.

Data quality plays a central role in engineering data transmission, exerting a profound impact on engineering decision-making and safety.
