Study on the Characteristics of Digital Hydraulic Pumps and LUDV Multi-way Valves for Excavators
摘要
In response to the development needs of energy conservation and intellectualization in construction machinery, a design is proposed where the displacement of a digital hydraulic pump is regulated in groups by eighteen solenoid on-off valves to achieve multi-stage flow output. A Load-Independent Flow Distribution (LUDV) multi-way valve is used as the main valve, and pressure compensating valves are employed to maintain stable pressure differences between the inlets and outlets of the main valve's throttling orifices. Based on the AMESim-Simulink co-simulation platform, a hydraulic system model and a control model of the digital hydraulic pump combined with the LUDV multi-way valve are established, and simulation analyses of the actuator motion under different working conditions are conducted. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the digital pump can accurately match the flow demand of the actuator with a response time of 50 ms; under the condition of unsaturated flow, the LUDV multi-way valve maintains the pressure difference fluctuation of the main valve within ±0.2 MPa, and the flow of each actuator circuit only depends on the opening degree of the main valve's throttling port.
