Suicide Behavior as a Distinct Psychobiology in Major Depression
摘要
Patients with major depression are at increased risk for suicide, and suicidal behavior can be manifested as a symptom of depression. Although the mechanism of suicidal behaviors in patients with depression is not fully understood, numerous attempts have been made to explain it over the past decades. This chapter aims to describe the genetic, psychological, and neurobiological aspects of suicidal behavior in major depression.
