This paper introduces an intelligent metasurface control system utilizing STM32, which features an external voltage control module and a reconfigurable metasurface array structure aimed at enhancing 5G signal coverage in areas with no reception. By pressing different buttons on the infrared remote control panel, each column of PIN diodes within the metasurface array can be controlled independently, with the current selection displayed on the LCD screen. To assess the control capabilities of the developed module for the metasurface array, a 16 × 24 array was constructed. The testing results demonstrated that this array successfully improves signal coverage at the designated beam pointing location.
