Wireless communication technology has the advantages of easy deployment and flexible expansion, enabling real-time transmission of monitoring data of cables and power equipment in underground comprehensive conduits and trench pipes. However, due to the attenuation effect of the ground layer and manhole covers on signals, stable cross-manhole cover underground information transmission remains extremely challenging. In recent years, rotating permanent magnet mechanical antennas have shown excellent application prospects in under-ground communication. This paper conducted an experimental study on cross-manhole cover underground in-formation transmission using rotating permanent magnet mechanical antennas. The results showed that this technology can overcome the attenuation of signals by the ground layer and manhole covers, enabling the transmission of signals between duct manholes and the ground. This research preliminarily verified the application potential of mechanical antennas in the field of fault monitoring and early warning of power equipment in underground comprehensive conduits and trench pipes.

摘要
