In order to meet the frequent changes of users’ needs and iterative design requirements and to improve software development efficiency, a low code development method for servo software based on software definition was studied. Firstly, the software defined equipment and low code development technology were introduced. Then, the overall scheme, system architecture, and development process of the development method were explained, and research was conducted from two aspects: technology and management. Finally, the development method was discussed and summarized.
