The diagnostic method of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is to diagnose a disease or a pattern by a comprehensive analysis based on the information obtained from inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiry, and palpation. The four methods of obtaining information like medical history and signs are the “four diagnostic methods” of TCM.
