This chapter explores the vocational higher education teacher policy in China, which serves as a crucial guarantee for building a robust vocational education teacher team. Over the past 70 years, these policies have undergone significant changes. In terms of text formation, there has been a shift from indirect policies to direct policies, eventually developing into a comprehensive policy system. Regarding policy content, there has been a transition from singular to increasingly diverse and rich policies. The policy effect has led to the basic completion of the “two systems, one team” framework. In the new era, the construction of a vocational education teacher policy system should focus on five elements: political authority, overall influence, systematic implementation, relative independence, and distinct characteristics. It should be developed through three main aspects: improving the training policies for vocational education teachers, accelerating the construction of the management system for these teachers, and strengthening the quality assurance system for vocational education teachers.
