The preliminary academic result of field research is the field report. In folklore fieldwork, the formal presentation of another culture is the field ethnography. As mentioned in previous chapters, the only way to describe another culture is to live in it, learn it, observe it, understand it, and write about it. Folklore fieldworkers who reside, observe, write, and formally present another culture are also known as ethnographers.

摘要

The preliminary academic result of field research is the field report. In folklore fieldwork, the formal presentation of another culture is the field ethnography.
