Knock-In Rat Model of the BRCA1 Pathogenic Variant p.L63X: Its Basic Phenotypes and Perspectives for Use in Cancer Prevention Research
摘要
Animal models are key to obtaining insights into disease mechanisms and developing prophylactic and treatment measures. We have recently developed a rat model of BRCA1 deficiency and revealed that this model mimics many of the phenotypes in humans. Herein, we briefly review the development and characterization of the phenotypes of this model.
