The OpenHarmony operating system, an open-source project incubated and operated by the OpenAtom Foundation, is a new-generation IoT operating system designed for full-scenario, fully connected, and intelligent application scenarios. It has attracted significant attention and holds broad application prospects. This paper introduces the basic technical features of OpenHarmony, summarizes related research achievements, industry application progress, and ecological development. Additionally, it analyzes the application prospects of OpenHarmony in the intelligent equipment field and proposes development suggestions.
