The application of digital technology has advanced the interpretation and presentation of cultural heritage beyond the functions of traditional presentation with only paper, images, or limited physical objects, providing rich means for interpretation and presentation and expanding the connotation of cultural heritage protection (Pan et al., 2020), while introducing new opportunities and challenges in the interpretation and presentation practices of cultural heritage sites. Through a literature review and site investigations, this study investigates the digital interpretation and presentation practices at three research sites. The following section presents an in-depth analysis of the characteristics of digital practices across various domains, covering aspects such as the types of technology applications, content design logic, and management and operational models. By comparing the commonalities and differences in digital interpretation and presentation strategies across various heritage sites, this study reveals the underlying influences of policy orientations, resource conditions, and local needs. It thereby provides an empirical foundation for understanding the diverse practical pathways of digital technology within the cultural heritage context.

摘要
