Clinical Practice Guidelines

In Japan, the Japan Council for Quality Health Care ( https://jcqhc.or.jp/en/ ) has been operating the Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) and Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) Promoting Project, commonly known as “Minds” (hereafter referred to as “Minds”), since 2011 under commission from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The aim of this project is to improve the quality of healthcare by supporting decision-making by patients and healthcare providers through the dissemination of high-quality CPGs. The project primarily focuses on evaluating and selecting CPGs, supporting their development, and promoting their implementation. Through the “Minds Guideline Library” ( https://minds.jcqhc.or.jp/ ), the project provides access to CPGs and related information.
