Insect-parasitic fungi are of significance in agriculture and industry. Several fungal parasites of insects have been documented, collected, studied, and utilized that belong to all the major fungal lineages. However, entomoparasitic fungi of the phylum Basidiomycota are an underrepresented group. A brief review of the entomoparasitic fungi belonging to the Basidiomycota is presented in this chapter.
