This study investigates the acoustic performance of UUV fairing structures and materials through finite element simulations using COMSOL. The analysis first evaluates sound transmission characteristics of single- and double-layer fairing configurations under normal wave incidence. Subsequently, parametric studies examine three-layer rubber-core sandwich panels, assessing the effects of thickness variations, material combinations, and the presence of loss factors in the viscoelastic layers. Finally, the influence of oblique incidence angles on acoustic transmission is systematically characterized.
