Modern applications increasingly require ACID transactions across multiple data models, but existing systems struggle with this due to the heterogeneity of data stores. Traditional approaches like XA and 2PC are too rigid for diverse models (relational, graph, key-value, etc.), forcing developers to implement complex consistency logic. This paper presents TaaSDB, a novel data platform that offers cross-model ACID transactions through a Transaction-as-a-Service abstraction. Key innovations include: 1) a scalable three-tier architecture, 2) intelligent conflict detection for atomicity, and 3) dynamic model mapping for unified operations. TaaSDB simplifies multistore usage as easily as a single database.
