Research Model on Convergence of Distribution and Logistics for Agricultural Products

Distribution and logistics strategies are continuously and rapidly evolving due to technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence (AI), the core technology of the fourth industrial revolution. Distribution and logistics have been studied in different areas. We have recently paid attention to the integrated phenomenon of distribution and logistics that is occurring in various areas. For agricultural products, both distribution and logistics are very important. In this paper, we conduct a study on the integrated phenomenon of distribution and logistics of South Korean agricultural products. This study aiming to increase the efficiency of agricultural product distribution and logistics systems. This paper featured three measures for the convergence of distancing and logistics: in the production sector, the distribution and logistics sectors, and the efficiency of agricultural products. This paper explored the integrated phenomenon of distribution and logistics present in South Korea’s agricultural product manufacturing, using structural analysis.
