Enhancing Innovative Work Behavior through Digital Mastery: The Essential Role of Learning Agility in Indonesia’s Electronics Manufacturing
摘要
Innovative work behavior (IWB) is a crucial determinant of business competitiveness and sustainability. Drawing from organizational behavior and socio-technical systems theory, this study investigates how digital mastery and learning agility influence IWB among employees in Indonesia’s electronics manufacturing sector. Data were collected from 261 employees across six major manufacturing firms and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results reveal that digital mastery significantly enhances IWB both directly and indirectly through learning agility, which also serves as a strong predictor of IWB. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative approach to modeling digital mastery and learning agility—representing technological and social subsystems respectively—as synergistic drivers of innovative behavior within the context of Industry 4.0. This study not only validates the mediating role of learning agility but also provides actionable insights for aligning digital skills development with adaptive learning strategies to foster workplace innovation in digitally transforming industries.
