The plant is primarily distributed across China in provinces like Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Ningxia, Gansu, Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Shandong. It contains active ingredients like essential oils, chromones, coumarins, polysaccharides, and organic acids, providing therapeutic effects such as dispelling wind, relieving pain, and stopping convulsions.
