It is cultivated across most regions of China, with Shandong, Hebei, and Henan serving as primary production areas. Honeysuckle is valued for its properties in clearing heat, detoxifying, and dispelling wind-heat, while honeysuckle vines have similar uses in detoxifying, dispersing wind, and unblocking meridians. The primary diseases affecting honeysuckle include root rot, brown spot, powdery mildew, white mold, and anthracnose. Among them, root rot, powdery mildew, and brown spot causing the most significant damage.
