Imaging is among the simplest techniques to integrate with optofluidic devices, offering ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and real-time observation capabilities. When paired with high-speed cameras, it enables sub-millisecond time-resolved data acquisition for researchers. This chapter focuses on optofluidic measurement methods with the facility of imaging techniques, covering refractive index and tensile strength measurements. For each method, the working principle and a case study are presented.

摘要

Imaging is among the simplest techniques to integrate with optofluidic devices, offering ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and real-time observation capabilities. When paired with high-speed cameras, it enables sub-millisecond time-resolved data acquisition for researchers. This chapter focuses on optofluidic measurement methods with the facility of imaging techniques, covering refractive index and tensile strength measurements. For each method, the working principle and a case study are presented.
