Optofluidic Nanobubble and Nanodroplet
摘要
Bubbles hold a significant position in modern science and technology, emerging often in fluid systems and finding applications in multiple disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and medicine. While bubble dynamics under macroscopic conditions have been extensively studied, there is a notable gap in understanding bubbles on an extremely small scale. This chapter explores the formation and dynamics of laser-induced micro/nanobubbles and their resulting jets, which also contribute to the creation of nanobubbles or nanodroplets. The discussion covers the working principle, bubble dynamics in confined channel, jets from bubble interaction, breakup of nano-thickness film and nanodroplet generation process.
